Balancing the space and proportion.
The goal was to keep upper minimalistic and less layering to help with weight and avoid foot irritation at the same time applying upper support in areas needed to handle the directional force.

68% of the budget to meet the margin was focused on placing the technology onto the outsole performance of the ride and motion.
Airbag cushioning was suggested to be planted on the exposed heel and forefoot allowing the energy of foot to transfer a natural roll, removing any hard impact of the ankle, knees, hip and back.
